University Winter Challenge charity prize winner Sonia has donated £25 to WaterAid. WaterAid provides clean water, decent toilets and hygiene knowledge to people who do not yet have access to them.
'I’d like to donate to WaterAid. Everyone should have their basic needs met, and I think that’s something we take for granted as water is available so freely. And any donation from now until January will be doubled, so will be able to go even further in helping communities have access to clean water ' - Sonia
Did you know?
Every £1 you donate to WaterAid between 1st November 2017 and 31st January 2018 will be doubled by the UK Government up to a total of £5 million. You can add your donation to Sonia's and we will transfer it to WaterAid before the end date so it can be matched!
You can still enter the BetterPoints Greenwich University Winter Challenge and win £25 for your favourite charity. The Winter Challenge is available under Programmes in the BetterPoints app. Select "BetterPoints Greenwich University Winter Challenge," add your campus and record at least one activity to enter the weekly prize draw. The challenge ends on 15th December with the charity draws taking place on Monday 18th December.
The top 3 Winter Challenge participants from each campus will win £30, £20 and £10 worth of BetterPoints. Each activity you record will count towards your total. Happy walking and cycling!
