Carolines Rainbow Foundation

The charity was set up after the trafic death of Caroline Stuttle,  in April 2002,  in Bundaburg,  Australia,  whilst backpacking in her gap year. The foundation was formed by Marjorie Marks-Stuttle,  her son Richard and her husband David Marks. The aim of the foundation is,  to raise the awareness of the importance of personal safety,  by recognising and prioritising lifes values. The foundation is currently working with the Education sector,  the Foreign and Commonwealth Office,  Safer York Partnership,  The Suzy Lamplugh Trust,  BBC Radio York,  other trusts/charities and organisations,  to disseminate this message and to offer direction towards the relevant funding,  provisions and information that is currently available to support young travellers. The foundation also assists back-packers in Australia if they find themselves in distress or unfortunate circumstances. For further information,  please contact the foundation on the details above
